What equipment do I need?

It depends on the class, look at the requirements page to look at your class and the requirements for enrollment.

How long do the classes take?

Every class and every instructor are different. The open water class can be completed in as little as two weeks, however; more advanced classes such as the Divemaster or Instructor class are more time intensive. Contact us about the class you are interested in and we can answer all of your questions.

Where do my classes take place?

The wonderful thing about NAUI is that they give their instructors academic freedom. There are a set of minimum standards that must be met then after that it is up to the instructor. Basically, the classes can be taught anywhere. Most classes have a classroom requirement that can be taught anywhere that learning can be easily done. The water sessions of the class can be in a pool if they are confined water sessions or open water if they are open water sessions. Some classes such as a cave class or a deep diver class are taught in their respective environments, if you are not located by a dive site that is appropriate for your class, travel might be required.
